This MobileKey is based on Pluteus Fr. – Dachpilze (Georg Müller & Markus Scholler) including subsequent keys and species or taxon pages.
Description: Kleine bis mittelgroße, teils auch große Pilze. Hutdurchmesser 1–15cm. Hut anfangs glockenförmig-halbkugelig, später ausgebreitet mit oft flachem Buckel. Hutoberfläche glatt, faserig, matt, samtig oder haarig-schuppig. Stiel zentral, längsfaserig. Fruchtkörper meist recht fragil. Hut leicht vom Stiel zu trennen. Mitteleuropäische Arten ohne Velum. Lamellen frei. Anfangs weißlich, im Alter rosa bis rosabräunlich. Teilweise mit gefärbter Schneide. Sporenpulver rosabräunlich. Sporen rundlich bis leicht ellipsoid, ohne Keimporus, amyloid. Cheilozystiden immer vorhanden, Pleurozystiden teils fehlend. Hutdeckschicht hyphig oder zellig. Saprobionten auf Holz oder terrestrisch auf pflanzlichem Detritus. Bis auf P. salicinus (der das Halluzinogen Psilocybin enthält) keine Giftpilze und alle Arten essbar, wenn auch nicht sonderlich wohlschmeckend.
